The Glass Pavilion is situated on the banks
of the beautiful River Tay on Scotland’s picturesque
east coast in the one-time fishing village of Broughty Ferry.
Originally constructed as a bathing
shelter in the 1930’s, this listed building has been totally
transformed to provide one of the most stunning dining venues
in Scotland. The restaurant has an “art deco” theme throughout
and the glass-fronted restaurant offering spectacular
views over the Tay Estuary.
At The Glass Pavilion, we offer everything
from a tearoom fayre of speciality teas and coffees with fresh
home-baked cakes, to bistro lunches served Tuesday till Sunday
(Closed Mondays except Public and Bank Holidays) using only
the best locally sourced produce used to create an imaginative
menu and “specials” board.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, a la carte
dining is on offer with a superb, critically acclaimed menu
freshly prepared by our young and talented Chefs. On Sundays,
the Scottish favourite of “high tea” is served
consisting of a main course, followed by home-baking, scones,
toast, tea or coffee.
We are also happy to cater for private parties
and dining clubs with a variety of packages available to suit
all parties. For more information, please browse the website
at your leisure or call us on 01382 732738.
The Glass Pavilion is now under the new management
of Derek McFarlane who has years of experience within
the hospitality industry. A warm friendly welcome
awaits you from the whole team at The Glass Pavilion.
